My Role
I work with you to help you understand what is going on with you and within your relationships. As humans, we tend to think of communication through words as the most important form and we do not realize that the most powerful form of communication comes from attitudes, feelings, and from what we leave unsaid. Many times we do not realize what we are actually feeling and this does not help us to understand the outcome they have in others. We may be unaware of the factors that determine our emotions and behavior. So let’s work and discuss it together.
By working in therapy, we increment our capacity to love, work, have pleasure and to create. In the process of psychoanalytical therapy the symptoms are resolved and our relationships are bettered. We become better people, better parents, better husbands and better wives. As a consequence, we achieve a more fulfilling life.

People come to me for a variety of reasons; they may have been going through life’s transitions or through a rough patch. When they want to get to know themselves when trying to understand why their outcome in life is not always what they expected it to be. People also come to me when they are not feeling well and they may have symptoms and or psychological disorders such as: depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and feel paranoid, are obsessive, anorexia, have personality disorders.

Long-term treatment can seem daunting and scary, but don’t think of it as a sentence or a “I need a cure now” as much as a guidance system in your life as you navigate your path. My recommendation is to try a session or two and see if it makes sense to continue. The door will always be open for you to come in.

My focus is not to give you a to-do list, but to help you understand what is going on in your life so you can feel empowered to get back into your life and make changes that you see fit.
